Pitting machine for bayberries
By admin

Overview
The pitting machine for bayberries is mainly used for separating the pulp from the pits of stone fruits, such as olives, plums, apricots, peaches, and dates.
Cold Stoning Machine is also mainly used for separating the pulp from the pits of stone fruits, such as olives, plums, apricots, and peaches. The fruit passes through separating plates at different angles on the rotor, resulting in chunks of pulp that fall through the screen holes into the discharge hopper. The pits are discharged through a spiral composed of several separating plates. The gap between the screen and the separating plates depends on the size of the pits.
Working Principle: The material enters the pitting chamber through the feed hopper. Due to the separating plates at different angles on the rollers within the pitting chamber, the fruit pulp is separated from the pit. The separated pulp falls through the screen holes into the discharge hopper, while the pits are moved through a spiral composed of several separating plates and discharged through the pitting hopper. The gap between the screen and the separating plates depends on the size of the pits.
Working Principle: The material enters the pitting chamber through the feed hopper. The separating plates at different angles on the rollers within the pitting chamber separate the fruit pulp from the pit. Use and Maintenance
- Installation must be secure, and the frame must be level.
- Before starting the machine, check that all screws are tightened.
- Check that the lubricating oil in the transmission reducer is normal. (See the reducer instruction manual for details.)
- Clean the entire machine inside and out, and check that all rotating parts move freely.
- Connect the transmission reducer to the power supply, check that its rotation direction matches the direction indicator, and run it for 2 minutes. Only after confirming there are no abnormal noises can material be fed.
- Feed material evenly, avoiding impact. Stones, screws, and tools must not be dropped into this equipment.
- If incomplete pit removal is found during use, the size of the pit outlet can be controlled by operating the control gate at the pit outlet, and the speed of the transmission roller can be controlled by the speed adjustment handwheel on the transmission reducer. Once adjusted, no further adjustment is needed for the next use.
- To stop the machine, simply disconnect the power supply to the reducer.
- After shutdown, be sure to thoroughly clean the entire machine, inside and out, to keep it clean.
- Regularly check that all bearings and reducer components are properly lubricated, and add the specified grade of lubricating oil as needed.
