Overview

The grapefruit half juicer uses counter-rotating rollers to forcefully squeeze and halve the fruit for juice extraction. It is suitable for peeling and juicing passion fruit, oranges, tangerines, pineapples, papayas, guavas, dragon fruit, and other fruits.

Cut Half Juicer is currently the most advanced orange juicing equipment internationally, suitable for continuous automatic juicing of whole citrus fruits such as tangerines, lemons, and oranges. After grading and oil extraction, whole citrus fruits such as tangerines, lemons, and oranges are fed into the machine. A bowl-type conveyor mechanism continuously and automatically cuts the whole fruit into two halves, which are then fed into two vertical rotating drums on the left and right for juice extraction. The machine automatically separates the peel from the pulp. This machine is a continuous automatic rotary cone juicer with an advanced structure, stable transmission, and high production efficiency. Because the peel and pulp are not broken during the cone juicing process, the juice quality is high. Juice yield is high.

Its main working principle: The motor drives the main shaft via a V-belt pulley, and the main shaft transmits power to four mechanisms:

  1. Bowl Conveyor Mechanism: A pair of bevel gears and a gearbox drive the semi-open bowl conveyor mechanism, continuously conveying citrus fruits such as oranges, lemons, and tangerines into the bowls. Fixed blades cut the fruit in half, sending each half to one of the two four-flowering turntables on the left and right.

This mechanism is also equipped with a pair of end-face gear meshing devices, which can adjust the phase relationship between this mechanism and other mechanisms, ensuring coordinated and smooth movement of all mechanisms in the machine.

  1. Four-Flowering Turntables: A pair of bevel gears rotates a split shaft, which in turn rotates the two four-flowering turntables on the left and right, sending the two halves of the fruit cut by the bowl conveyor mechanism into the semi-open conical bowls of the two rotating drums on the left and right, ready for juicing.
  2. Left Rotating Drum: A pair of bevel gears in the gearbox and a rigid coupling rotate the upper and lower turntables. The upper turntable has seven semi-open conical bowls, and the lower turntable has seven conical heads. Another pair of bevel gears in the gearbox drive the seven juicing cones, allowing them to continuously rotate on their own while revolving with the turntable.

The semi-open conical bowls, under the action of the cam, open or close. As the open half-bowl gradually closes, it scrapes half of the fruit from the four-petaled turntable into the bowl, while the rotating cone gradually extends into the bowl to juic. Because the center lines of the upper and lower turntables intersect at a specific angle during installation, the cone gradually extends into the conical bowl during juicing. After juicing, the juicing cone automatically descends and leaves the conical bowl, and the semi-open conical bowl automatically separates under the action of the cam, completing the juicing process. The extracted juice is collected and enters the conveying pipe for the next process, while the pulp enters the discharge pipe through the discharge port for centralized processing.

  1. Right Rotating Drum The right rotating drum is driven by a universal coupling and bevel gears, and its principle and function are the same as the left rotating drum.

Installation, Operation, and Maintenance

  1. The machine must be installed horizontally and secured with anchor bolts.
  2. Tighten all bolts on the machine. Clean the entire machine inside and out, keeping it clean.
  3. During installation, pay attention to adjusting the specific angle at which the center lines of the upper and lower rotating discs in the left and right drums intersect to ensure the effective extraction of juice from the cone. (The machine has been tested before shipment.)
  4. Connect the power supply, start the drive motor, and run the machine for a few minutes to confirm normal operation. Then, add an appropriate amount of material into the machine and observe whether the material can be conveyed to each mechanism in sequence to achieve the effect of separating fruit peel, juice, and pulp.
  5. Feeding must be uniform, avoiding impact, to ensure that the material is cut evenly in half. Hard foreign objects are strictly prohibited from entering the hopper.
  6. If uneven cutting is observed after the material enters the hopper, adjust the blade position accordingly before continued use.
  7. During juice extraction, observe the separation of fruit peel at the pulp outlet to judge the juice extraction effect. If the effect is not ideal, stop the machine and adjust the gap between the cone bowl and the cone head to achieve a higher juice extraction rate.
  8. To stop the machine, simply disconnect the motor power supply. 9. After each machine operation, thoroughly clean each cone cup inside the machine.
  9. Regularly inspect the blades for wear. If cutting becomes sluggish during use, sharpen them promptly; replace them if necessary.
  10. Frequently check the motor for overheating or overload. If any malfunction is found, contact maintenance personnel for repair.
  11. Check the drive belt for aging or cracking. If found, replace it immediately.
  12. Check the drive belt for looseness or excessive tightness. Ideally, the belt should be able to rotate 90 degrees with your fingers. If too loose or too tight, adjust the adjusting bolts at the motor mount.
  13. Ensure all bearings and other components are well lubricated. Regularly add the specified grade of lubricating oil.
  14. Regularly inspect the drive motor and gearbox. If any malfunction is found, stop using the machine immediately and remove the obstruction before resuming operation.
  15. When the machine is not in use for extended periods, keep it clean inside and out.
