Ginger drum washing machine

Overview
The ginger drum washing machine utilizes a drum to tumble fruits and vegetables, simultaneously washing them under high-pressure nozzles to achieve the purpose of cleaning. The machine can be designed with either a mesh or roller type drum depending on the characteristics of the material.
Drum-type Washing and Peeling Machine is a fruit and vegetable cleaning equipment designed in the United States and possessing advanced international standards from the 1920s. It features a novel and compact structure, energy efficiency, high production efficiency, thorough cleaning, minimal damage to fruits and vegetables, and a wide range of applications. This machine is widely used for cleaning carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, red dates, and other fruits and vegetables, and is particularly suitable for cleaning fruits and vegetables grown in soil.
Working Principle: During operation, a reducer rotates the drive shaft via a chain, which in turn drives the drive chain on the outer surface of the drum through a power sprocket, thus rotating the drum. After the fruit and vegetable raw materials enter the drum, they are tumbled and cleaned under the action of the drum and high-pressure spray water. Furthermore, the hollow spiral on the inner wall of the drum facilitates the even forward output of the material. Wastewater flows through the mesh on the drum surface into the collection hopper and then into the water filter tank. It then passes through the mesh on the filter tank into the water tank, while impurities remain in the filter tank. The filtered water, driven by the circulating water pump, is then pumped to the spray pipes to further clean the materials, thus achieving the cleaning purpose.
Installation, Adjustment, Use, and Operation
- Check and tighten all bolts on the machine.
- Level the machine and clean both the inside and outside, ensuring it is clean.
- Ensure all bearings and reducer components are well lubricated; add the specified grade of lubricating oil regularly.
- Close the drain valve at the circulating water tank and fill the tank to 2/3 capacity.
- Connect the power to the circulating water pump and drive reducer, ensuring the pump and drum cleaner operate in the same direction as the direction indicator.
- Run the machine for 2 minutes to confirm normal operation before feeding material into the drum cleaner inlet.
- During operation, if there is a large amount of dirt or water accumulation in the filter tank, clean it promptly. If the water level in the tank is too low, add clean water immediately.
- During operation, if the water in the tank is too dirty, add clean water to the tank while simultaneously draining the dirty water through the drain valve, without affecting the normal operation of the machine. Note: Maintain the water level in the tank at 2/3 full during operation.
- To stop using this machine, first turn off the power to the circulating water pump and the transmission reducer to stop the machine from running, then open the drain valve to drain the dirty water.
- When the machine is not in use, clean both the inside and outside of the machine and drain all residual liquid from the circulating water tank.
