Lemon spiral squeezer
By admin

Overview
The lemon screw squeezer uses a spiral propulsion system, utilizing the gradual reduction in volume within the bipolar screw chamber to compress the material. This machine is suitable for juicing crushed fruits and vegetables, achieving a high juice yield.
Twin Screw Extruder is also suitable for juicing crushed pome fruits such as pineapples, apples, and pears.
Working Principle: Crushed pulp, juice, and peel enter the twin-screw juicer through the feed hopper. As the screw’s base diameter gradually increases and its pitch gradually decreases toward the residue outlet, the material is pushed forward by the screw, causing the volume of the screw chamber to decrease, resulting in compression. The screw’s main shaft rotates counterclockwise, viewed from the feed hopper toward the residue trough. Raw material is fed into the feed hopper and compressed by the screw’s propulsion. The squeezed juice flows through a filter screen into a juice container at the bottom, while waste material is discharged through the annular gap formed between the screw and the tapered pressure regulating head. The axial movement of the pressure regulating head is directly controlled by a hydraulic system. Adjusting the hydraulic system pressure, or adjusting the resistance to slag discharge, can alter the juice yield. However, if the hydraulic system pressure is too high, some slag particles will be squeezed out through the filter along with the juice under strong pressure. Although juice yield increases, the quality of the juice decreases. The hydraulic system pressure should be adjusted according to the user’s specific process requirements to achieve automatic separation of juice and slag.
Installation, Operation, and Maintenance
- The machine must be installed level and secured with anchor bolts.
- Tighten all bolts on the entire machine. Clean the machine inside and out to keep it clean.
- Before connecting the drive motor, adjust the hydraulic system pressure to the minimum.
- Connect the drive motor and confirm that the machine’s rotation direction is consistent with the direction indicator.
- Run the machine for 5 minutes to confirm that everything is working properly before proceeding with normal feeding.
- Feed the material evenly and prevent hard foreign matter from entering the hopper to prevent damage to the screen.
- After feeding, gradually increase the hydraulic system pressure. Once the juice yield meets the process requirements, stop adjusting. 8. When shutting down, simply disconnect the motor power supply.
- Clean the filter screen with water and a brush after each shift. If fine-filtering a juice with a high fiber content, wash the screen screen more frequently depending on production conditions. After squeezing, rinse the entire machine with hot water.
- Regularly check the motor for overload and heat, and check if the bearings need lubrication.
