Overview
The tomato pulper is suitable for pulping and separating crushed, pre-cooked pome fruits and various berry fruits.
Application and Features
Single Channel Pulping Machine is suitable for pulping and separating crushed tomatoes, kiwis, strawberries, apples, pears, and pre-cooked, softened hawthorns and dates.
Operating Principle:

  1. DJ-Type Pulper: A motor, driven by a belt, rotates a scraper mounted on a splined shaft at high speed. When the crushed fruit enters the machine through the inlet, a pulp receiving tray evenly distributes the material onto the scraper and screen. The rotation of the scraper and the lead angle cause the material to move along the cylinder toward the outlet in a spiral path. During its movement between the scraper and screen, the material is crushed by centrifugal force. The juice and pulp (in pulp) pass through the screen holes and are then fed to the next process. (Double- and triple-stage pulpers repeat the above process in a linked manner.) The skins and seeds are discharged from the hopper, achieving automatic separation. By simply changing the screen size and adjusting the scraper lead angle, you can adjust the beating speed to achieve the desired effect.
  2. MDJ Pulper: The motor, driven by a belt, rotates the rotor assembly mounted on a splined shaft at high speed. Fruit enters the machine through the feed inlet, where the feed blades convey the material in a spiral to the beating bars, where it is mashed. Due to centrifugal force, the juice and pulp (already in pulp) pass through the mesh holes in the screen and enter the next beating stage (the mesh holes are determined by the size of the fruit pits). The pits are then discharged by the discharging blades to the discharge outlet, achieving automatic separation of pulp and residue.
This machine is available in single- and double-stage models. When pulping stone fruits (such as mangoes), the single-stage pitting pulper allows the skin and flesh to flow from the discharge hopper into a buffer tank, while the pits are discharged from the residue outlet. The double-stage pitting pulper removes the pit in the first stage and then beats the fruit in the second stage, fully automatically separating the pit, skin, and residue. We recommend the use of a core-removing double-pass beater. The beater principle is similar to that of the DJ beater.

Operation and Precautions

  1. The machine must be installed level and secured with anchor bolts.
  2. Tighten all bolts on the machine and check that all screws in the shaft are loose. Clean the machine inside and out to keep it clean.
  3. Turn on the drive motor and confirm that the machine’s rotation direction is consistent with the direction indicator.
  4. Run the machine for 5 minutes to confirm that everything is functioning properly before feeding.
  5. Add the material evenly, avoiding impact. Depending on the specific slag and slurry discharge, adjust the scraper’s helix angle and the gap between the scraper and the screen after shutting down the machine to ensure that the slag juice content meets the process requirements. To adjust the scraper’s helix angle, adjust the screws on the front and rear shaft brackets to adjust the scraper’s inclination. To adjust the scraper’s gap between the scraper and the screen, adjust the nuts on the shaft brackets to adjust the distance between the beater and the screen.
  6. When shutting down the machine, simply disconnect the motor power. Do not open the drum cover while the rotor is still rotating. Turn the handwheel counterclockwise to open the drum cover.
  7. Clean the filter screen with water and a brush after each shift. To clean, open the drum cover and remove the tensioning screw on the spline end. The rotor assembly and screen can be easily removed.
  8. Regularly check the motor for overload and overheating, and check that the bearings are lubricated.
