Overview
The onion cage crusher feeds material into the hopper and passes through the crushing chamber. Centrifugal force drives the material along with the rotor’s scrapers. The stator’s blades crush the material to a desired particle size.
Squirrel Cage Type Crushing Machine, imported and designed by our company, represents internationally advanced fruit and vegetable crushing technology. It boasts a novel and compact structure, energy-saving and high efficiency, high production capacity, and a wide range of applications. Except for the transmission components, the entire machine is constructed of high-quality stainless steel, making it suitable for stand-alone operation or for interconnection with other equipment.
Operating Principle: During operation, the motor drives the main shaft. Material, lifted from the preceding process, falls into the feed hopper. Once inside the machine, the rotor’s ribs drive the material’s high-speed rotation. Centrifugal force causes the stator’s blades (which can be used on both sides) to crush the material. The particle size is typically around 4-8 mm (depending on the blade pitch, stator slot width, and rotational speed). The crushed material then falls through the kidney-shaped holes in the stator into the discharge port.

Installation, Adjustment, Use, and Operation

  1. Tighten all bolts on the machine.
  2. Align and level the machine, clean the inside and outside, and keep it clean.
  3. Check the bolts on the large side cover for looseness.
  4. Ensure all lubricated parts are well lubricated and add the specified grade of lubricant.
  5. Manually idle the machine to confirm that it is flexible and free of foreign matter.
  6. Only after confirming all the above conditions are met can you connect the power supply for a test run.
  7. Connect the drive motor to the power supply and confirm that the machine’s rotation direction is consistent with the direction indicator.
  8. Start the machine and operate it.
  9. Do not drop stones, screws, or tools into the crusher.
  10. When cleaning after work, disconnect the power supply, open the cover, clean it, and then reinstall it in its original position after cleaning with detergent or disinfectant.
  11. Regularly check the motor for overload and heat, and check that the bearings are lubricated.
  12. Check the teeth of the machine’s cutter bar for dullness. If dullness is found, adjust or replace the cutter bar before using the machine again.
  13. Always keep the inside and outside of the machine clean.
